Briscuso Dance Studio was founded in 1980 by Judy Briscuso and is one of the oldest studios in St. Louis. The studio started in her basement, creating a close-knit, family-oriented culture that continues to be the bedrock of the studio today.
The studio moved into a commercial space in 1988, before settling in it's current location at Manchester and Baxter in the Lafayette Shopping Center in 2001.
"Mrs. B" is loved by her students and is still a beloved fixture at the studio, teaching adult classes and the Daddy/Daughter and Mother/Son dance for the recital.
Julie Briscuso Deyoung took over the studio from her mother in 2015 and continues to instill the same values in her students. She is proud to employ a team of teachers committed to bringing the love of dance to all of their students.
The feeling of family you get when you walk into the studio is one of the reasons why students keep coming to us generation after generation. Parents who danced here have returned with their own children to experience the same wonderful memories.
If you're looking for a great studio with a positive atmosphere, a commitment to age appropriate costumes, music, dancing, and curriculum, and a dedication to producing dancers with great life skills in addition to technical skills, come dance with us!
